Terms of Service

Last updated: March 14, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VeriCap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VeriCap is a desktop application that uses screen context, audio transcription, local machine context, and artificial intelligence to provide live assistance during calls, meetings, research, and computer work. The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. AI-generated answers, notes, summaries, and suggested actions may contain errors, and you remain responsible for reviewing important outputs before relying on them.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

You must create an account and purchase a subscription to use VeriCap. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software; (c) share your account credentials with others; (d) attempt to circumvent subscription requirements; (e) use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.

5. Privacy and Data

Your use of VeriCap is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Screen context, screenshots, audio, machine context, and other task-related data may be processed locally and via third-party AI APIs to deliver the Service. We do not store raw screen recordings or raw audio recordings on our servers unless we explicitly tell you otherwise.

6. Intellectual Property

VeriCap and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by VeriCap and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated answers, notes, follow-ups, or recommendations produced by the Service. AI-generated results may contain errors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriCap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated answers, suggestions, notes, or automation.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
